A new Trick of Shadowlight?

You may ask yourself, self, what does Craig plan on doing with these? That's a great question! Craig should really plan on doing something with these.

Malleus: You're a living weapon: whether built, bred or engineered, you possess the capability and resources of a whole squad. Deployed strategically, you're an elite warrior called upon to achieve mission goals that typical soldiers might be less suited to.

Wellspring: You possess within you a deep, vast reservoir of extraordinary talent that bends, if not in some cases outright breaks the physical laws of the universe. It has lain dormant, quiescent for most of your life, but some recent circumstance has caused it to awaken and manifest. This talent can exhibit as subtle, such as telepathy, or it can be more obvious like the spontaneous alteration of matter, such as telekinesis.

Erudite: There are scholars, prodigies & polymaths—then there's you. Not only does your mind operate beyond the speed of thought, but you're capable of encyclopedic levels of memory recall, as if you were a walking library. Your brain is like a quantum computer cooled to near absolute-zero temps. You're highly sought after for your insights on all manner of subjects, from engineering, medicine & diplomacy to art, music & literature.

Behemoth: You're big, strong, and really tough to knock down. Whether the result of genetic mutation, radiation or chemical exposure, advanced technology or some other extraordinary circumstances, you stand taller, broader of shoulder and denser of musculature. Such drastic changes haven't come without their challenges however, and as a result you've had to come up with ways of adjusting to make these new gifts less negatively impactful on others or your surroundings.

Maelstrom: The forces of nature are yours to command. You have control over such natural elements as wind, precipitation and lightning. You feel as though you're an advocate for nature, and in some places your name is spoken with a mixture of fear and reverence.

Maligned: You're looked down upon, ostracized because of the nature of your abilities; it's less about the abilities themselves, more about the socially-acceptable nature of their use. You've earned a reputation for yourself, either famous or infamous, e.g. spying on someone while invisible.

Mediator: Whatever your abilities are, you use them to reduce tension and hostility between people. Your words are exceptionally soothing to those who hear them, or maybe you can bend the will of others to be more amenable to your whims. You're a skilled negotiator and diplomat.

Precocious: You're a trickster—you like pulling pranks & practical jokes. Your abilities are brassy, sassy, & you use them with less forethought & more boldness or audacity. This is a fairly broad category covering anything from moving at hypersonic speeds to producing brilliant bursts of light.

Extrinsic: You're an outsider. There's some degree of overlap between the Extrinsic and the Empyrean, but in your case your ways are different & typically solitary. You might be an android capable of self-awareness abandoned by their maker, a member of one species displaced & raised in another, or an "uplifted" being, achieving sentience where the rest of your species lacks it.

Cavalier: You have a strong sense of justice—one that frequently rises above the laws of a particular nation-state— using your abilities to do what you feel is right. You look out for the marginalized & harassed, encouraging bullies to pick on someone their own size, picking back when needs arise.

Vigilant: Danger lurks around every corner—you're the only one who stands between it & the safety of others. You put your abilities & resources to work prowling the streets in search of criminal activity, conducting covert operations for governments, or advising corporate moguls, all from the shadows.

Empyrean: You're a living legend, whether you hail from another dimension, another planet, deep beneath the earth or antediluvian eras. You might've been worshipped as a god by ancient civilizations. You wield weapons or demonstrate abilities that have inspired mythology, epic poetry and religion.
